Pipeline recovery — jobs in non-terminal status (received / forwarding_stow / forwarding_hl7) older than the age threshold. Requeue puts the row back to received so the dispatch workers re-pick it; Purge removes the jobs.db row + best-effort deletes the on-disk SR .dcm file.

HL7 Forwarding

Master switch for SR → HL7 ORU^R01 forwarding. When ON, SRs matching an enabled routing rule are transformed to HL7 and sent to the rule's HL7 send node. Takes effect immediately — no service restart. Per-rule and per-node enable flags still apply.

DICOM SCP (Receive)

TCP 104 is the DICOM well-known port but is often privileged. SR Engine defaults to 11115.
fo-dicom DicomServiceOptions.MaxPDULength. 256 KB reduces association round-trips for large SR transfers; pre-association negotiation will clamp if a peer doesn’t support it. 0 = use fo-dicom stock 16384. Restart the service to apply.
Default off — keep received SR on disk for audit.

Storage & Auto-Purge

Where received SR .dcm files are written. Leave empty for the default <dataDir>/received_sr. Change it to relocate to a different folder or drive. New files go to the new location; existing files are not moved automatically. Restart the service to apply to the C-STORE receive path.
0 = keep indefinitely (audit). A positive value deletes received .dcm files older than that many days — the small-drive control. This deletes the files on disk only; the database/analytics record is governed separately below. (Distinct from the space-based Disk Watermark purge.)
Archive job-metadata rows to gzipped NDJSON before they are pruned (feed SynthInSight). On by default.
At the fixed 7-day operational window, job-metadata rows older than 7 days are pruned from the hot database. When this is on, those rows are first written to date-partitioned gzipped NDJSON under the archive root below — preserving all-time history off the hot DB for the SynthInSight analytics product (RI-2026-116/117). Best-effort: an archive error is logged and the prune still proceeds. Independent of the on-disk .dcm Auto-Purge above; the 7-day window itself is fixed.
Directory the gzipped-NDJSON archive is written to — point this at a location SynthInSight can read (a shared path or mounted volume). The link to SynthInSight is this shared filesystem path, not a network call. Leave empty for the default <dataDir>/analytics-archive.

Email Notifications

Off by default. The SMTP server must be reachable from this host.
Recommended — STARTTLS on the submission port (587). Implicit-TLS port 465 is not supported.
Email when a job enters the failed state (STOW-RS or HL7 forward).
Email when disk usage crosses the watermark (throttled to hourly).

Web & Logging

Restart the service for host/port/SCP changes to take effect.

Authentication & HIPAA

Default on — SR payloads contain PHI.

Import / Export Configuration

Export the full configuration as a JSON file for backup or migration, or import a previously exported configuration. Secrets (the SMTP password, TLS cert password, and each STOW-RS destination’s bearer / Basic-auth credentials) are redacted by default and re-applied from the running config on import; tick “Include credentials” to export them passphrase-encrypted for a full cross-host clone.
